It is remarkable how much of the lingo and body language we have mastered these few weeks ...
- "more many" means lots of DVDs upstairs
- "yes" means "I do not understand"
- "Mr. Mr. you" means "buy something now"
- nodding the head means whatever it should mean in the context it is given
- "bia" means beer
- "sirloin steak", at least in Holiday Villa in Ha Long, means fried shoe sole
- a light tap on the upper arm means "buy"
These people are wonderful, kind, and have our best interests and comfort at the top of their agenda. We are waiting to board the boat at Bhaya and so far nobody else is here. We were told we have a suite with a balcony so it should be interesting to see what we get. Junie called to check up on us ...
